Technique & Pigments

Hélène Vance sources raw mineral oxides exclusively from the historic quarries of Roussillon and Morocco. Mixed with cold-pressed Swedish flaxseed oil and bleached beeswax, each passage is applied in sculpted impasto gestures that cure over six months into a structural relief that captures directional light in physical space.

Pure Pigment Saturation Index: 98.4%
